Album

... otherwise known as another thing I bought. If you don't know, I have a Fuji Instax Wide Camera 210. I got it for Christmas a couple of years ago. So far I've been putting the photos into a normal sized album. They're loose in there and would fall out. So it was off to ebay I went to finally buy an album for them. This was $11-ish off ebay. Sent all the way from South Korea.

The package was rewrapped by Australia Post. I guess they opened to check it? I took it out of the plastic Australia Post wrap and the paper packaging was wet. I don't know what that's all about.

EDIT: oh, maybe the packaging was deteriorating and they wrapped it kindly for me?

Back to school: a miscellaneous post

Unless you're a working member of society and education is all behind you ... XD

First week was last week for me and it was pretty easy intro stuff because it's the first week. It's difficult to get back into a routine after 5 weeks of nothing. Getting up in the morning is especially hard.

Anyway, besides all that, ticket prices have come out for the 2011 K-Pop Music Fest. in Sydney (http://www.jkent.com.au/kpop2011).

VIP $289 / Gold $189 / Silver $139 / Bronze $89

I don't know how much ticket prices for a music festival are usually so I don't know how reasonable these prices are. It's arguable for the number and status of some of these groups its a pretty reasonable price. I'm betting some fans are going to fly in from interstate and/or overseas. Sydney and ticket buying is pretty accessible compared to other places so that's a major benefit for overseas fans.

I'm getting VIP. If the benefits of VIP are pretty good. Details have yet to be released as to what VIP includes. If you get VIP too, see you there! XDDDD

And ... dinner is cooked (Japanese style curry over pasta) ... wow, blogging is a great time filler! XD

A photoless post

The internet is completely boring right now. I feel like I've run out of things to do online. Hence, a random, pointless blog entry.

A lot of my friends are going back to uni tomorrow and most of their online posts have been about that. I don't start uni again until August. Results are released on Wednesday. I'm not the best student so I am quite nervous about the results.

In the past 3 weeks or so I have done nothing of note. With 2 weeks to go I  am definitely going to get my L's. I just have to. I've been putting it off for so long. Largely because I'm scared that I'm going to be a crap driver. But almost everyone learns how to drive. All types and manner of people and if they can do it then so can I, right?

I only have 1 goal for the remainder of this break because when I  have too many I get none of them done. Oh, and  I want read some books before uni starts up and I have no time to read non-law materials. Still have A Game of Thrones to read. I was going to finish it before I finished watching the series.

All those plans I made in my head ... sigh. Well, only 4 months, maybe, 'til the next break! Apparently, I'm going on holiday to the US and Canada in December so there's that to look forward to! My friends are planning to go to Hong Kong in February 2012. I want to go too!

Anyhoo, pointless post for me to pass the time ... Going to watch the Sherlock  Holmes movie to see how it differs from the Steven Moffat mini-series. I think there's quite a difference in tone ... XD

Do not disturb. I am studying ...

or not. Most of my classes are over for the semester. Only have a couple of tutes/seminars this week then done. But I'm so far behind in everything. I thought there was lots of time before my first exam. There's not. There's like 2 weeks. But I'm a horrible student and I procrastinate. This blog post right now is another act of procrastination as I try to catch up on all the lectures I've missed. My house is very cold and my dad insists on opening up all the doors to get "the smell out". Why? It's freezing. I'm walking around the house with a blanket. I study better when I'm not at home like at a coffee shop (as pictured below) or better yet - A LIBRARY.

I bought a whole thing of green tea bags to get me through. That and coffee and someone else making me food is getting me through. XD

Anyone got some exam tips? I need to invest in some Red Bull. Or Mother since 7/11 Dollar Day is this Friday. Stock up on some Mother, yes/yes? But I have dinner plans and Vivid Sydney watching that night. Am I really gonna bring all that Mother around town?

24 hours for 24 years

So my birthday is soon ...

My plan for my birthday is to be awake for all of it. Yes. Even though I wasn't born til 9:15 at night. But I think they were already in the hospital on the 18th waiting for me to come out. Apparently, I took a long time!

I haven't really made any birthday plans. I might do something later in the week but it's so close to Easter so it's kind of busy.

I have mixed feelings about getting older. I don't like it. XD The day before I turn 25 I will have some sort of breakdown but that's next year's problem.

I plan to buy ingredients for cake making today, some birthday clothes and some birthday gifts to myself.

I want to start my 24th year fresh. Here's hoping!

Bruno Mars is in Sydney!

He's playing a show at Luna Park tonight and boo, self, I should have bought tickets. I love his songs and his performance style and he's half-Filo which is a plus too! Filo pride!

He's been getting great reviews for his concert especially 'the part when he asked fans to put their cameras down and "just have fun with us"'. I totally understand this. In this age of internet and YouTube and digital cameras people just fail to enjoy the moment. They have to capture the moment so they can relive the moment again or share it with others. Which is fine. But in the process - don't miss the moment!

A few Filipino bloggers blogged about his concert in Manila. I also saw an interview from the Philippines with his mother and sister - both so beautiful - on YouTube. I do feel kinda proud. It's weird right? XD

Birthday is soon! I'm making birthday lists!

Also, Gakkenflex TLR still in Kinokuniya in Sydney! 4 left. I counted. I'm heading back to the city tomorrow to buy one. PLEASE STILL BE THERE!

Almost holidays

One more week then I have 2 weeks off from uni. I say 2 weeks off but not really. I have notes to write and I made plans to do all the things that I've forgotten or been too lazy to do. I have to get through this week first. Lots of things due and none of them started.

I was going to post a photo to make this post more interesting ... I'm just trying to find one. From the flickr account that I lost the useranme and password for. (EDIT: Oh, I just tried logging in and can now. Oh, hey, that's cool. But now I have 2 flickr accounts.) Hmm. Maybe I'll trying figuring that out in my 2 weeks off. JAPAN! LOVE!
